Margaret Leger is a Community Leader as well as being a gifted educator in Louisiana starting as a high school math, English and computer teacher.  Margaret became vice-principal then promoted to principal at Eunice high school.  Being an outstanding principal in Eunice, she was chosen as Region IV Louisiana Principal of the Year.  She is active in Rotary and on the Board of Directors for LSU-E, and is now on the Acadia Parish Curricular team and Acadia Parish Jumpstart Coordinator, as well as being Acadia Parish Middle School Math and Reading Facilitator.  She has her pulse on the community and is an influential  community Leader.

“Having been in the field of education for over thirty years and having served on many educational and civic boards, I have had the opportunity and privilege to meet and work with many great leaders and visionaries.  At the top of this list would be Charlotte Dupré.  During her tenure as CEO of Acadian Medical Center, Charlotte was a strong community advocate.  She worked very closely with the educational community and gave support through scholarships and hospital-based educational programs. Also, her commitment to the community was widely seen by her close ties to various civic organizations.

When committed to a cause, she believes that giving a 100 percent is minimum; everything will be done to perfection and attention to detail is essential.  That is the "game plan" that she plays and that is why she is a winner!

Charlotte Dupré is a trusting, reliable, intelligent and dedicated individual who I greatly admire.  I am extremely blessed to know her and to have had the privilege of working with her."

TESTIMONIALS

Dan Dare, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

"It is been my great pleasure to work with Charlotte Dupré in my capacity of chief of Orthopedic Surgery , Chief of Surgery and a member of the Board of Trustees of the tertiary hospital in which Charlotte served as  CEO. She came into a difficult situation and immediately was able to turn it around with her visionary planning, great working relationship with doctors, people in the community, and other medical professionals. She was especially successful in strategic planning, opening new service lines and planning in general to cover all contingencies. She was well loved by everyone in our organization who had the opportunity of interfacing with her and is well-suited and qualified for any medical enterprise endeavor."
