HAMMOND, LA:   Strategies & Ventures LLC, a business and healthcare consulting and development firm based in Hammond, Louisiana, has begun serving clients nationally.  Charlotte W. Dupré , CEO of the new firm, announced its formation.   Dupré commented, "Having served as CEO in a number of healthcare organizations throughout my career including medium and large size hospitals and having worked with business leaders in all industry types has given me a keen understanding of the challenges, needs, and opportunities that exist in the business and healthcare world today."   Dupré's firm offers a key range of services to general business and healthcare in specific including strategic planning, fiscal management, community assessment, organizational development and structuring, SWOT analysis, focus groups and management development.
 
Prior to forming Strategies & Ventures LTD, Dupré served in the capacity of CEO, COO, Executive Director and Administrator for a range of healthcare organizations across America.   Her experience covered ground up development of new hospitals including construction planning and operations through service and market share development.   Her career roles included emphasis on financial viability, market analysis, physicians and employee relations and community involvement among others.  
 
A graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a major in Business Education, Dupré holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans.  Her ongoing education spans a broad range of fields including Sales Management, Cost Accounting and Profit-Analysis, Leadership Development and Performance, Decision Making, Profit Line Profitability, Physician Development, Marketing, EEO processes, and Quality Improvement Training.  She served as a National Presenter on Managing Product Lines for Success as part of an IBM National Conference and has received numerous accolades and recognitions both inside and out of the Healthcare field.  Early in her career, Dupré earned recognition as "Outstanding Teacher of the Year"  by Abbeville, Louisiana High School, and "Outstanding Young Woman of the Year" by the Wichita, Kansas Public School System.  Dupré also served as Assistant Director of Human Resources at Tulane University Medical Center over a three year span.
 
Dupré is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Healthcare Financial Management Association, (HFMA), and was selected as one of the Top Fifty Women in Mississippi Business in 2014.  She has served on numerous local, state and regional boards.
 
Her career reflects her efforts to help develop or "turn-around" organizations and businesses from both a service and financial standpoint with emphasis on strategies and positive cash flow initiatives.
